Membership

We happily welcome new members to the Morphett Vale RSL Sub-Branch – either Service or Affiliate depending on your history.

The following provides details of the two types of membership available.

Currently Service membership is $50 per annum and Affiliate membership is $40 per annum, with both being due on January 1st each year. Current rules are that anyone joining after October 1st, their membership will carry forward into the following year.

Service Membership
Admission to Service Membership of the League is open to any person who is or was a member of the Australian Defence Force with at least one day’s service (full-time equivalent). Proof of military service is required with the application. Service Membership is also subject to the National RSL By-Laws.
 

 

 

ADF 12 Month Free Membership
RSL SA offers a free 12 month first-time membership to all Australian Defence Force serving Regular and Reserve personnel, who are not current or previous RSL members.

 

Affiliate Membership
Admission to people who have not worked for the Australian Defence Force is also available and the terms and conditions for Affiliate Membership of a Sub-Branch are outlined in the Sub-Branch By-Laws. Affiliates can be as a relative or if you are empathetic with the RSL objectives.
